While the world sleeps...

I found out Tony Kanal had left Erin his girlfriend of years and had already moved on to someone else, a blond I believe. I was saddened by the news, I guess after all those years she had grown on me.

I was getting picked up by the Holmes(yes she was still pregnant) n as they arrived I panicked, yes I still hadn’t packed :( I ran into the frantic looking for my green luggage. In the process I knocked over a shelf of things, Forest was there to help put back the shelf. As I jammed things in the bag I knew there was no way I could get everything to fit or possibly remember everything.

It was time for a road trip! I’m all for road trips but six in a car? And this was no Expedition. It was Grace Joe Zac Chiaki my brother n I, off to Philadelphia we were.

Our first stop was for Zac he wanted to track down the lead singer for his Dave band Homegrown, uhm weird but ok. Chiaki accompanied him on his mission. Then we’d be off to Ace of Cakes, they film in Philly, right?

At the movies Cory n Alex buy popcorn for everyone. While we wait I see a couch. Kyle is al the other end with his popcorn. I’m about to sit when I recall the bed bug outbreak, I’m sure the couch is infested with them so on a second thought, maybe I won’t.

I find myself in Louis’ apartment, very cool young apartment furnished by ikea I’d say. Lots of different kinds of beds, for the many guests he houses. He walks in out walks Ruby from the kitchen with a try of perfectly sliced deviled eggs. Well see, not only is he the owner of a hair salon he is also a caterer and aspiring chef.

He has good news, Solomon has given him the number of Sr. Arce who has just opened a restaurant and is in need of a chef. He picks up the phone and tries to explain who gave him the number. I can hear him mispronouncing Salo’s last name and so I figure I should probably go over and see if I can help.

Showed up at the current RBC site and was surprised to see a lot of new faces at the site, Jade and even my brother, what a nice surprise I thought. All of a sudden it hit me that I never told Chiaki I wasnt riding with her.

We all went to a warehouse/auditorium were all the crews were going to show videos or presentations they had made. I wondered but wasn’t surprised that I didn’t know anything about it. I was surprised to see Kim in one of them, I didn’t know she had signed up yet. I looked around and most of the people were gone, where I wondered?

Then another film came on, kind of artsy with pastel colored fishes on the screen. I was surprised to see that the person presenting it was an orange haired boy from elementary school named Danny.

I was shopping with my grandmother at target and as we are leaving she tells me we need dish soap. I tell her to wait, I’d run n get it. I ran through the massive warehouse store looking. I finally found it n found myself overwhelmed by the selection. I looked n looked wondering why I didn’t see some of the well known brands, there were only like two. I saw a nice roses scented one although I didn’t know if my mom would like her dishes smelling like roses. I also couldn’t decide because I didn’t want to spend too much on soap. Finally I decided to go with the roses a small bottle of it. I also thought about how on the way home I could stop by Starbucks. I was craving a frappachino n figured my grandma would love a coffee. As I was walking away I realized I had picked up shower gel instead of dish soap, I had been in the wrong section all along! I ran around he aisles confused by all the different kinds of soaps. I saw Amanda walk by and grabbed her arm begging for some assistance. She pointed me in the right direction. It still looked kinda wrong but grabbed one. Walked up the stairs to find my grandmother sitting, waiting. It was late and I had been away for a while and wondered how the store was still open although by the looks of it they would be closing shortly. I was half surprised to still find her there waiting. As we were online to pay she showed me a clear nail polish she wanted. The tall lady behind her shook her head, I agreed, I knew she didn’t need it but I knew it would make her happy plus it was only $2.50.

There was un underground KH behind a McDonalds. There was a trend going on where you would walk in your underwear, was ok with it until I realized how embarrassing it really was.

After mtg at this underground KH I dropped off Simone at her car. Actually her brothers car. He had crashed the car. She informed me this was the third time this had happened.
